Default Flat towing 2021 AWD Trailblazer
Looking to flat tow ..., Operator's handbook recommends disconnecting battery. Is that for safety or is there a mechanical/ electrical protection reason for doing so?

They say that it's for preventing the battery from going dead while the vehicle's being flat towed.
