Default Nav Unit

Is there a way to play the Navigation CD and play a mp3 or music CD in the entertainment system/DVD player at the same time?

Default RE: Nav Unit

I have the same problem, I have a 2006 trialblazer LT with the "standard" Nav system , I could not find a way to play my MP3 because the system is not provided with options for external inputs. I want to buy a DVD/TV/MP3 package, but i don't know the way to fix that in my car.

I just happen to have gotten one of these today: http://www.shipsound.com/product_inf...ucts_id=102612 for my 07 TB w/Nav and XM. It's a bit pricey (you also need the cable for another $24)but it took all of 10 minutes from package opening to hooking up my MP3 player. It uses preset 1 under XM1& 2 to access it. You just drop down the panel under the dash where the XM is located (2 screws) and unplug the cable from XM, plug in this cable and that's it. I had 2 AUX inputs. It even provides 2 switched 12v lines to power your device. There are cheaper options (~$70) but it requires removing the dash panel and the Nav. Not a difficult task but this device was justwayyyyy simple.
