Default Seat Controls

I have had my 2004 Trailblazer Ext for 4 days now. The seat controls don't seem to work. This is rather annoying. When I put the key in the seat moves up to a neutral postion, all the mirrors including the rear view mirror go to a preset setting. I am over 6' tall and it practically crushes me. I have learned that if I touch the button on the side it will stop adjusting the seat. The progam buttons on the door don't seem to work since they do not beep twice when I hold it in for three seconds. The FOB is recognized by the vehicle as it displays either Driver 1 or 2. This appears to be the only thing wrong with this vehicle. I bought if from a private citizen so there is no warranty. I can live with it for now but would like to know how to fix this issue.

Thanks.

Default RE: Seat Controls

Ive read that some of these controls where troublesome.. especially the mirrors.
Go to www.trailvoy.com and ask there.
Ive seen quite a few trailblazer members on there with electric seats. I dont have the feature- but I know Ive read about some troubles theyve had.
