Default speed sensor diagnostics & repair?

2008 Trailblazer
I have had multiple hubs and speed sensors replaced over the years. Currently I am constantly getting the "buzzing" / pulsating when coming to a stop although I do not notice and pulling to a certain side when this is happening.
Are there any apps (Torque, etc.?) that will test sensors to tell me which one(s) may be bad?
I've seen a YouTube video once where someone was testing the resistance while spinning the tire, is this a good way to test?
I am in Ohio so rust could definitely be a factor, I was thinking about trying to clean then up but would like to isolate instead of doing all of them.
I've had OEM sensors replacements in the past but do not plan on keeping this vehicle for over another year so I was just going to replace with Rock Auto parts if that's OK?
They can just me unplugged near the hub and swapped right? I don't need to do the whole hub?
Thanks for any advice!
