Throttle body issues
Cleaned throttle body with throttle body cleaner 2 weeks later have code p0068 throttle body assembly. So I replaced throttle body. Code is still there and I'm getting the reduced power symbol along with the same throttle body code. Don't know what it could be. Any help would be helpful thanks

- Bad or failing MAP sensor
- Bad or failing MAF sensor
- Bad or failing TPS
- Vacuum leak
- Corroded or damaged wiring for the MAP, MAF, and/or TPS sensors
- Dirty or failed throttle body
- PCM issues
You can soak it in rubbing alcohol, but it has to dry out so a hairdryer will do that. Corroded wires are a bear, but still possible. MAP is pretty cheap too., but you can test for that.
ECM/PCM is tricky as it's not cheap, and you need an expensive technicians' reader to check them out. If you ever use an oiled K&N filter, don't. Those will mist off oil all over the MAF. A good WIX, AC DELCO or Purolator are best. Donaldson's are good too, but not easy to find, and I think they are WIX filters anyhow. Best guess is the TPS is gone, but easy to replace. And the MAF does need a good cleaning anyhow if it has been a few years.

Check to make sure that there is 5 the VDC reference voltage getting to the throttle body. If you do not have the 5 VDC reference voltage, unplug the connector to the electronic fan clutch and check again. Both the throttle body and the electronic fan clutch share the same 5 VDC reference voltage circuit. If the % VDC comes back after you unplug the fan clutch, then look the fan clutch wiring over to make sure that the wires are not grounding out. If you do not find any wires grounding out, then you'll need to replace the electronic fan clutch.
Electronic fan clutches going bad on TrailBlazers is very common.
Good Luck!
