Last week I purchased a '05 TB LT with 138,000 mile on it. I have put close to 500 miles on it and so far I'm pleased.

I do have a question though. The transmission has an annoying whine to it. The fluid is a nice red color with no burnt smell to it, the shifting is smooth both when babying it or really getting into it. it is just louder than I think it should be. I plan on changing the fluid once I recover from the purchase and registering.

I have searched the forums and the only thing I have found is a reference to an air pump, but this doesn't make sense since the whine is only there when driving.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
