Exclamation 09 Traverse Low Grumbling Noise When Turning Left Only

I have a 2009 Traverse, I've owned for about 2.5 yrs. Within the last week, I've noticed a grumbling or acceleration type noise coming from the engine while turning left. This only happens when the gas pedal is pressed and no it's not the typical acceleration, the tach does not jump at all when the noise happens. I can't tell whether its coming from the right or left, sounds like its from the left hand side but I don't have any way of figuring this out. I've done some research that points to possibly a bad motor mount for CV joint. Any ideas before I take it to my local mechanic?
