2010 Traverse LS battery drain
Last May my traverse was at the dealer for a week and a half trying to fix a battery drain issue. They thought they corrected it. Everything was fine until the weather started turning cold again. I started noticing the slow crank again. The vehicle sat for a couple of days and it wouldn't turn over this morning. I took it back to the dealer today. Last May they tried various things to correct the issue. I have no NAV system. I did have a aftermarket DVD player that was spliced in but the dealership removed the wiring just to be sure. They also did some type of OS upgrade to the on board computer I believe. After these changes and continually monitoring with an overnight meter they decided even though they could see draws occurring, on average it was not drawing more than it should. Obviously a significant draw is still occurring if i cannot let my car sit for more than one day without driving it. I saw one post from someone who also has an LS who was having the same issue, but there was no follow up to what the resolution \ root cause was. Any help would be appreciated. I wasn't sure if anyone knows if this is a known issue? thanks! Scott
