When my car was off I opened the door and I heard this banging noise coming from the door. It honestly sounded like one of those African drummers. Shortly after when I turned my car on I have no sound. Radio, blinker, on star nothing works now. Before I spend $300 on a new amp does anyone have any other recommendations?

 

Welcome from Florida. The first step with electrical problems is to check your fuses.

 

On the newer vehicle ALL sounds (blinker, warning chimes, seatbelt chime) go through the radio and are routed to the front door speakers. As you were told above, start by checking the fuses, and the stereo system, then the front door speakers.
