I love everything about my Traverse except for the running boards. They are just in the way..Every time I get out of the car my calves rub against them and you sort of have to hop out. It is so annoying. I was wondering if there is a kit that would replace the running boards and be replaced with a flat panel? They are so narrow that they serve no purpose. Does anyone feel the same about it?
Also the running boards are mounted that there are gaps in the door wells.I took it to the dealer auto body guy. He narrowed the gap some what but you can still see through to the ground. He said that all Traverses are like that. Is he right? You would think after paying almost 50 grand it would have better workmanship.
