Angry 2018 Traverse, HELP Please - So Many Problems

I'm having so many problems with my 2018 Traverse I honestly don't know where to begin. I had the "Shift to Park" issue that was fixed. The transmission has always been awful, bucking, slipping, but always intermittent. More recently (100k mile mark) while stuck in traffic during her morning commute, my wife called me to report the accelerator completely stopped working. She was able to glide to the side of the road, the engine was still running, but shifting to park then back to drive still would not deliver any power when she stepped on the accelerator. She turned the car off, tried restarting it, it would turn on for about 5 seconds then turn off automatically. Repeated multiple times. I had the car towed and by the time it got to my mechanic it started and ran fine with no problems, not even a check engine light. 4 days later I received another call from her that the car was bucking and it felt like the transmission was slipping and the check engine light was on this time. She was able to drive the car for the day and I was able to drive it back to the mechanic who cleared all the error codes and told me the ones that came back were all communication error codes and it really needed to go to the dealership. I brought it to my local dealer who have had it for 3 days now and when I finally got in touch with them today I was told the errors were cleared and didn't come back and they can't reproduce the problems I'm reporting so they can't fix anything. The problem only seems to happen when she's stuck in stop-and-go traffic for an extended period of time where the "auto-off" function continually turns the engine on and off over and over for an extended period of time.

I have no idea what to do at this point, but I don't feel comfortable with this being her primary vehicle or taking it anywhere with my family inside knowing there's a good chance we'll end up stuck on the side of the road. I'm so frustrated that I honestly will likely never buy another Chevy again. It would be one thing if there was any effort put into finding out what was happening but it seems like the only thing anybody can do these days is clear error codes, see if they come back, and if they do, follow a checklist. The fact that there were a number of error codes that popped up when the problem occurred doesn't seem to matter at all, and there was no effort put into trying to track down the issue based on the errors that did appear. If they're able to continuously clear the errors until they disappear the answer is simply, "well it's not a problem anymore!"

No idea what to do from here but I'm honestly thinking about just selling it and buying something far more reliable from a different brand. Any help would be appreciated.

Default Solved - Mass Airflow Sensor

Just in case anyone was curious or comes across this in the future, they were finally able to recreate the problem and figured out it's a bad mass airflow sensor which is now the second time in 5 years I've had to replace it. Anybody else have a consistent problem with this in this model?

Default Engine shuts off

My Traverse does something similar but in my case the engine will shut-off while driving. Right before it shuts off there is a vibration. We took it to the dealer and they said it may be the transmission.

My 2020 is just getting started with all the issues and ive only put about 25,000 miles on it so far(bought certified used with 24,000mi from chevy dealersip). Ive read TONS, waaay tooo many posts with issues and the worst ones are this sudden loss of power in traffic, at intersections and on freeway at full freeway speeds, and a couple where the vehicle just decided to accelerate all on its own or wheel jerked suddenly on its own. Worst one was a young new mother with her 5mo baby, on the way to the emergency room at night when complete loss of power(no horn, power steering, power brakes, lights, windows, locks- and those dissapear as we know so you cant pull it up with fingers- and also NO ONSTAR. Oh boy, she had to break the window and flail her arms out the side and scream while flying through an intersection while causing an accident and only luckily a cop happend to see so tried to pull her over which kept other drivers away until it finally stopped from loss of momentum! I dont even want onstar or data package but my 2020 tells me "you are connected to high speed internet thanks to onstar, yet i cannot use any of it and onstar is constantly up my *** no matter what i want, cant turn off headlights cause its all automatic "for my safety", where the HELL is Chevy on this?? Im goin to ALL FORUMS and we ALL NEED TO DEMAND RECALLS, I find service reports they send to their dealership mechanics for things that should be recalled like hvac hose dripps on bcm(body control module) like mine is now, but no recall.. btw their report tells their mechanics tha fixing that issue means dabbing moisture with a cloth, then zip tie the hose up alittle bit and change the bcm only if it is still under warranty.. they know these issues but DO NOTHING for the consumer, mechanics wont give advice, has to be brought in and they will give the advice for $$$. Zip ties.. LAWSUITS WE NEED LAWSUITS! WILL MY FAMILY AND I DIE IN THIS CAR TODAY??? I GUESS IT DOESNT MATTER
