Brand new traverse and when I stop at a light or stop sign sometimes it seems like the car shuts off. But when I accelerate it’s on and it goes! Does that make sense? Like youbcan tell the car isn’t on on some level it’s super still and quiet almost like it has stalled but then when I push the gas it goes with no issue. Has anyone had this issue? Is it something I’m doing PLEASE HELP I’d love someone to make me feel better this car is one day old thank you

 

google vehicle stop/start technology. does the vehicle have stop/start? if yes, its working normally. read the owners manual for system description.

This is a feature of the car. It shuts off to improve gas utilization, except when air is on.
