I went through a large puddle and the car stalled out. I went back this morning and the engine won"t turn start. Where is the distributor cap so I can dry it out.

 

well, is it hei, points or coil pack? I assume it is a distributor of some sort, not knowing other than you posted. It will set in the back towards the cab with wires on it. I'd suggest using WD-40 inside it, WD stands for water displacement.

 

Welcome to the forum. There's no distributor on your Traverse like in the olden days. How large a puddle was it? Large enough to suck some water in and hydrolock the motor? I think you ought to tow it in before you do more damage.
