Default heat working sometimes - temp selector - which actuator?

2011 Traverse

Last year I replaced the air mode select actuator. This is the actuator nearest the glove box.

Currently, my heat and a/c is intermittent and I believe it is the temp selection **** (the one in the middle of the dash). I think this actuator is acting up and probably needs replaced.

Does anyone know which actuator this is? There is one that is directly behind the controls, and then there is one that is more accessible from the driver's side panel. Which one is it?

Thanks!

single temperature selection. i can hear the actuator, and it sounds ok, and right now my heat is working ok. i think it's either the actuator or the door.
any idea which actuator it is?

it should be right in front of and slightly below the mode actuator (the one you replaced)

Similar problem for me.

My issue is when I turn the heat temperature control **** to cold it does not change. I can turn on A/C and cool the heat down some but the electric heater does not turn off. After a while sometimes it turns off. I have changes the controls head but still does not work.
Hope you figure it out

easiest way to test is with a scanner but I'm not sure if either of you have access to any.
