Icons missing from screen

Icons missing from screen
Within the past couple days I’ve noticed I’m missing 2 icons from my Screen.
One being Apple CarPlay. This is an issue because while phone is plugged in and I’m using Apple CarPlay, if I hit the home button for the informatics screen I can’t get back to CarPlay. I have to unplug phone and plug it back in in order to get back to CarPlay.
