I have a Samsung Galaxy Avant. It pairs over bluetooth and connects to the WiFi, just fine. However, when I plug it in to charge it, it cycles in and out of charge mode about every two seconds. It makes the charging beep and the screen comes on. Then, it makes the charger disconnected beep and the screen dims. Then, after another two seconds, it again makes the charging beep and the screen comes on. It continues doing this, pretty much indefinitely, or until I get tired of it and unplug it. My wife's Iphone 7 charges just fine. I have tried three different charger cables including the one from Samsung that the phone originally came with, all with the same results.

Anyone else have a similar problem?
