Default Navigation updates

I ordered the 2015 map update disc for my 2009 Chevy Traverse LTZ from Here inc (the map supplier for all Chevy's in dash navigation systems). When it came in the mail, it was the wrong update package (for a different navigation system). I contacted them and was told they had been having issues with there ordering system and several customers had recieved the wrong update discs; however they would make it up to me with free 2 day shipping on the new disc. Unfortunately they couldn't do an exchange so I would have to pay for my new disc and would recieve a credit when they recieved my old disc. Since it was their mistake they agreed to pay for return shipping if I would bring it to a Fedex store 12 miles from my house, but unfortunately the coupon code I used for my first order had expired so the new disc was going to be $20 more than the original. Is it just me or is this horrible customer service? Has anyone else had an experience like this with this company? I cancelled the order and am in the process of returning the wrong disc, and I am trying to decide if I should re-order , or bite the bullet and buy an aftermarket in-dash navigation system. I have been told all my factory options (steering wheel controls, satellite radio, etc.) will work with a aftermarket unit, and they come with free map updates. Has anyone else tried this route?

Canada. I saw the following on one of the after market sites . thought you might find it useful before you bite the bullet.

ATTENTION:
  • Note this unit fully supports the original BOSE audio system.
  • OnStar is not supported with this radio, so you will lose that function.
  • If your vehicle has the factory-installed navigation, the physical radio will fit fine, but the harness will not be plug-and-play. You may need to splice in the wires, so we recommend having a professional installer help you. And the steering wheel controls may not work.
  • Do NOT order if your car came with factory rear-seat entertainment system, instead check with us for the compatibility before making order.

They sent me a defective disc for my 2010 suburban It fried my radio. Chevy replaced the radio. They wanted to replace the disc. I said for what, the new radio came updated. Got a refund for the disc.
