Default Permanently Disable Park Assist

Can someone tell me how to PERMANENTLY DISABLE the stupid back up sensors on the 2013 Traverse? They are a pain in the butt! Beeping when I'm backing out of the garage or nearing a tree in my yard (that there is NO WAY I can hit!) I've tried covering the 4 areas on the bumper with black electricians tape but it didn't do one thing. Manually shutting off the park assist is a PAIN!

Is there a fuse I can pull?

Hi there,

I'm sorry to hear that your Traverse is causing you such frustration. I'd like to look more into this issue for you, to see if there is a fix available. Can you please private message me your VIN so that I can do more research on this issue? I look forward to working with you.

Never mind....found a dedicated fuse and yanked it. Problem solved!
