Ever since I bought my 2014 Traverse a year ago I get the message about Battery is low start the engine. I took it to the dealer and he said you can not use the stereo basically at all without the engine running. I had this issue with around 3 minutes use the other day. The dealer then asked if I only drive in town, I said usually and his reply was I needed to take long drives to keep the battery charged. My BS detector pegged the gauge! I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.

 

Have the battery, battery cables and alternator checked.

 

If it's original battery, it needs replaced.
