I have a 2022 Trailblazer RS. I took it in to have a brake inspection and they said everything was fine. I get it back and what seems to be totally unrelated, there is now a buzzing sound coming from under the passenger dash. I've turned everything off...radio, heat/AC, heated seats, literally any feature I had on, I turned off. It makes the sound while driving and parked. It's a constant sound, so doesn't get worse or less when accelerating or not. I sat with the car in park hoping it would stop, and nothing. It only stops when I turn the car off. I feel like I've had nothing but issues with this car. Anyone else with something similar?

 

Year, make model may help us! Does it buzz with key on but motor off??

 

Sorry! I thought I did..it’s a 2022 Trailblazer RS. There was no other forum for a trailblazer except for this one. It’s a push to start. When it’s in park and on it does it. As soon as I turn it off, it stops

I also have a 2022 Trailblazer. Also with buzzing in the passenger dash area. Happens intermittently and when braking or turning seems to make it better. Sometimes.
Brought it into dealer and could not get it do the buzzing there. It's driving me nuts. Anyone else have this and able to get it diagnosed?

 

I figured out what it was! It’s my headlights. When I turn them off, the sound stops. Of course can’t get it to replicate for anyone but I recorded it and have an appointment at a dealer to see if they can fix it. I wonder if maybe yours is something similar? When my headlights are on and I’m driving, the buzzing does go in and out too. It’s annoying for sure!

 

Did they ever figure out what the problem was? The same thing is happening in my 2024 trailblazer.

 

It’s infuriating because I’m told that it’s a normal sound. It’s not normal. It’s from the LED headlights and every dealer or mechanic says they can’t hear it or that it’s supposed to be like that. It absolutely isn’t. When I can turn my headlights off and the sound stops, it’s not normal. If you find a solution, let me know!

 

it's been 6 weeks of this noise and the dealership seems to be avoiding letting me bring the car in. I finally had enough and dropped it off yesterday. They said it could be a couple weeks before they figure it out. This has been an absolute ****show. Its a brand new car! I'll let you know when I hear back from them. I've never regretted buying something so much in my entire life.
