Trax LS AC Actuator
Hello all!!
I have a 2015 Trax LS with 50,000 miles. Have never had any major problems, and I love my car to death.
A few days ago, I get off of work, turn on A.C. and it was warm!! I noticed it was warm on only the drivers side, and the passenger's side was cooler, but not cold.
AutoZone and O'Riley both tell me it's an actuator, and that it's a costly fix. They are telling me they'll have to take apart the entire dashboard to fix it and I'm looking at a bill of 800 plus bucks. Are you serious??
My question to you is, would someone very car handy be able to fix this on their own? And is that was it probably is [the actuator?].
Thank you all!!
