My wifes uplander died on her the other day going to work. I am a heavy equipment mechanic by trade but i work in nashville tn. and go home to jackson ms on the weekends. So when she told me it died "only 49K' on the car she toed it home then got out the nikon and took pictures i circled things for her to check while she was on the phone with me fuel pump fuse relay ect. then showed her where the fuel test port is she unscrewed the cap turned on the key pressed in on the little valve and nothing. so i know it can either be a fuel pump or plugged filter or even still an electrical problem to the pump itself. my question so i know what to bring home with me is is the fuel pump on the uplander acessed from the top inside of the vehical or do u have to drop the tank? thanks for the info

 

No access from inside. You'll need to remove the tank. Be careful not to damage it. It's made of plastic. Not a pleasant job to do at home.
