Most google videos show the passenger side removal of the cv axle, However I'm running into tight spacing on the driver side/left cv axle. no issues getting the passenger side out. driver side is putting up a fight to release.

Anyone got any tips on how to get the driver side/left cv axle to break free?

I have used a long pry bar or a pickle fork. Some of them are really stubborn.

The prybar method works great for the passenger side.
The short pickle fork/ball joint hammer, two hits with the hammer and she came right out.
