2007 Chevy uplander electrical issues
Hi,
My 2007 uplander recently started having some issues with the electrical system. My instrument cluster and dash have no power, my running lights, cab lights, and reverse lights don't work either but my head lights and break lights are working. I've gone through both of my fuse boxes, testing with a multimeter to be sure and they are all intact and I checked the grounding wires I could find and they seemed fine as well. I checked my bulbs to see if something shorted but nothing. I'm not sure where else to look, if anyone has any ideas please let me know.
Thanks!

The Cluster and HVAC share the same power source. The HVAC module fan is independently powered. Does the van have rear HVAC, Heated Mirrors? Does the HVAC come on?
What about basic things like the radio?
Do any of the menu options bring up mileage on the cluster when pressing up and down on the info keys?
Do you have functional door locks when pressed or key fob?

The HVAC works front and back , door locks work, the stereo is dead and the led display on the cluster is also dead. Heated mirrors are also not working.
I'm hoping to have some time this weekend to pull apart the dash and meter out the power to confirm that is the problem.
P.s. the HVAC is producing heat but the AC won't work

If you disconnect the cluster and leave it for 1 min and plug it back in. It should rezero the gauges. If it does nothing, no power. Radio should atleast come alive by pressing the volume **** in. But the 2 are on serpate circuits. Unless a ground point failed.
The cluster has ground on Pin 1 Black/White Stripe and Pin 12 is Red/White Stripe for 12V Constant Power,
Radio on the Big grey connector A12 Is Ground (Black/White Stripe), B1 is Postive (Red/White Stripe)
HVAC Gets power on C2, middle upper connector. Pin A is Ground (Black/White Stripe), Pin D is 12V power (Red/White Stripe), Though this one gets an additonal one for turning on and that's the Pink wire on E 12V.

Check for power on the cluster connector and on the radio connector.
