Default AC/Heater Switch

My front blower stopped working. I pulled the motor and plugged it into a direct power source and it worked fine. The wiring harness doesn't get any power on any of the speed settings so I think the problem is the control switch. My problem is that I can't see how to remove the front consol so that I can replace the switch. Any suggestions??

yea check the fuse for it.
Its under the hood, fuse #27, 25amp called FRT\BLWR

To get the controls out, you need to used a plastic pry tool and jam it into the outer edge of the trim sorround the controls\radio. It is just clipped in there. Get the tool uderneath the trim, and just move it all around the trim popping all the clips out.

This is a very common problem on all of the minivans. The blower motor resistor fails religiously. It typically starts failing on only one or two blower settings, however it is the most common culprit.

If the fuse is good, I would suggest changing the resistor. It is located right next to the blower motor, and is actuall the device that the blower motor plugs into.

If you get the haynes manual for the van, it should have the troubleshooting procedure to find out what is bad.I have the manual for my Venture (but I also have a Relay) and it took me about 3 minutes to figure it all out.
