All season performance tire suggestions?
Hi guys, I've had a set of BF Goodrich Touring T/A tires on my '08 for about a year now and they're a good value ($400, 680 Treadwear, A/B-Traction/Temp) but having a tuned engine and tranny computer, traction from a standstill is very difficult in the rain, even with light throttle.
I can also spin the tires when turning mid corner or even at times during a first gear roll without flooring it so I'm thinking either a pair or a full set of higher performance all seasons.
I've been searching reviews but it's not easy finding traction comparisons.
If you guys have any input, it's appreciated.
Thanks,
Jeremy

Thanks for the suggestion buddy. I was actually considering going wider up front (similar to what Pontiac did with one of their Grand Prix models a few years back) for improved traction but it seems that our wheels are 17x6.5" wide and are at the limit with the 225mm tires.
I wasn't surprised though, mine have a fair amount of tire bulge but I'm not ready for wheel hub adaptors. There are practically no decent wheels for our goofy 6 lug setup.
However I have considered swapping to the prior 5 lug Uplander hubs in the future for much more wheel options.

Yeah I've been all over it, so now I'm looking for some user feedback if possible. I'm actually going to try some high performance all seasons (an actual tire rack category lol) this year some time.
And probably the hub swap later in the year.
