Default awd or fwd?

I am gonna get some wheel bearings and cv axles for my 2006 Uplander but have run into a problem. when I put in what I need on several web sights, it asks is my uplander awd or fwd? I don't know the answer, all I know is it's a Uplander LS 3.5 liter engine. What can y'all tell me? thank you for any help.

Could look underneath and see if it has a driveline going to the rear wheels
Or try to do a burn out and see if the rear wheels spin!!

Driveline? It doesn't have a drive shaft going to the back. I will I hope know more when I tear it down some tomorrow and Saturday. Never had a van before and all this awd, fwd is confusing. If my local shop wasn't so expensive then I would order from them and it would be easy returns but at over $100 a wheel, thats more than I want to spend for just the bearings and the same per axle. Online is cheaper by a mile if I can just figure it out. Thanks

If no driveline to the back than I would assume it's FWD (front wheel drive) I' sure somone smarter than I will verify this

You get what you pay for. For bearings, I would stick to reputable brands from known distributors. Unless you feel like doing the job again in a few months.

Nothing too crazy. Just different drivelines. Similar to 2WD versus 4WD.
Post your VIN please.

there you go. Your VIN was automatically decoded by the forum. Just click on it to get your answer.
Most parts catalogs will also show you parts based on VIN. I like rockauto.com
(it's also in the tools menu at the top of the page)
