Default Install Sub in OEM Deck

I just brought this uplander 2007, It has 58,000KM on it.
It is semi loaded,
Comes with dvd and satelite and on that stuff!

I was hoping to some how add some bass to the dvd player but was affair if I un-hook all the wire that my satelite and dvd sound would not work.

So I was hoping I could get help with hooking up to the OEM deck somehow to a amp to use my sub?

Use a line level conveter on the rear speaker leads to obtain a low level input(RCA) to the amp, Or if your amp has a high level input, use a direct feed from the rear speakers.
For the amp turn on wire, go to either front kick panel, and pull out the harness runnning into the door. Cut back the tape and you'll find a yellow wire that wil test as retain accessory power.

So I don't need to Hook anything up to the deck?

So what your saying, I get this line level conveter, and then convert the rear speakers by splitting the wires into RCA?
Now is this going to feed my amp with some alright power or should I go from the direct deck?

and once I do this I will still need to feed a power line to the car battery and ground!

And for the remote do I still need that going to the amp?

NOW IF I..... Go get a custom deck I will not be able to play the dvd on my speakers?

The line converter will work just fine. You will still need a power wire from the battery, for the remote wire (amp turn on) use the wire that shawnvw recommended above and a ground wire.

Ok I went to wal-mart and picked up a Scosche Output Converter, Now it is saying I need to take the front and rear wire speakers and add them to the converter, Is it ok to just add the rears?

Other then that I have all the wire ready and Just trying to get this the right info?
