Does anyone have or know where I can get the Luggage Rack Cross Bars(used) for a reasonable price? The dealership wants to charge me $300.

 

There are a couple of after-market options for installing the Chevy Uplander roof rack crossbars. Both Yakima Racks and Thule Racks, the biggest car rack companies in the US, have very similar car rack systems that attach directly to the Chevrolet Uplander roof rack siderails. Thule has the Thule 450 Crossroad car rack system and Yakima has the Yakima Lowrider car rack system. Just make sure you get the 58 inch length cross bars because the shorter length ones won't be long enough for the Chevy Uplander roof. These racks are quite a bit less costly than what your dealer quoted you + you canalmost alwaysfind extra deals on these racks on the internet

If you are looking for the cross bars alone,( the ones that go across the width of the van) and your van has the black rails, not the round silver ones the higher models have, you can go to a local scrap yard and pull two off a venture/ montana. That's what I did with mine.
