im having serious issues with my gas mileage.i understand that the sticker says 17/25 i would be happy if i was close.i dont call though 12 close.the gaS GUAGE flucuates i put in 40 dollars in gas 2 days and 40 miles later its gone.has anyoone else had this problem .i love the minivan but if this problem continues it will be traded in .i do plan on getting checked out .i was hoping that maybe some else has has had the similiar problem so that maybe i can point the techs in the right direction.my car has about 3000 miles and ive chabged the oil at 1000 .thanks for any help.

the oil change will make no difference it has oil life monitor, wait till around 5000km ora 3000 miles, anyhow.....have you had it on the highway yet.....14 from 17 on a brand new van is normal, it will get better as you drive it more, take it on the highway and clean it out so to speak, give it good run 60-80mph for a bit, break it in good.....remember the milage calculations are done on a 12 km track at average speed of 50kmp for city and a 12 km track at 95 kph for highway, so if you drive 120kph on the highway it will be worse, give it some time to break in, I pretty sure you will find it getting better...

remember the 25 is highway, and highway only if you are in town all the time, it will be around 15-16 prolly most of the time after it gets a few more miles on it...
