purge vallve

i have a 2006 chevy uplander needs purge valve where is it not under hood how hard to replace

Likely near fuel tank/pump if not under hood.

find the plastic line at the throttle body...follow it back till you find the purge valve... your on the correct line if; this plastic line will also have a evap service port...has a green threaded cap on it.
