Sorry to be off topic in the Uplander forum but can you tell me if my mother's 2003 Buick Century 3.1 which was built in March '03 has the old LIM gaskets or the new ones.
The dealer can't/won't tell us if the engine is at risk of leaking... there must be a cut-off serial number for the old gasket that GM would know if it's a new or old style gasket.

I can't say for sure....unless someone else can chime in here I'm gonna say try another dealer and go directly to the parts dept to see if they can offer any info

 

I recently saw a class action suit leveled against GM in California for 3.1/3.4 engines up to April 10 I believe, doesn't look good for the Century.......
