Hello. I'm new to the forum, but seems like an active place go get answers. I'm hoping you can help, since my local auto parts stores don't have repair manuals covering my Uplander.
Check engine light is on, and the dealer diagnostic check says a bad evap. valve. We replaced the gas cap at the time of the dealer check, and it didn't help. This is a project we'd like to do ourselves... hoping someone can give me the location of the evap valve. I've been a mechanic all my life, and so don't feel uncomfortable doing this, just need to know for sure where it is, and how to access it.

Manuals for this model seem to be non-existent in stores. Either purchase a factory repair manual for the Chevy dealership or download on on-line.

 

Where is the evap value on the 05 Chevy uplander

 

Its down by the fuel tank.
