My 2006 Uplander power sliding door won't lock manually. I disabled the power mechanism several months ago so by pulling the fuses for it. The door has locked manually up until now, although not as smoothly the other sliding door that never had power. Now the push button won't work at all. Is there a way of fixing it and how would I go about doing this?

the lock actuator may be seized. remove the door trim panel and check the door lock actuator linkage....if you can't move it by hand the actuator is seized and must be replaced. youtube should have videos on trim panel removal.
