Step by step help needed!!!
Hello,
first let me state I am a very small person with little to no upper body strength. Also taking the Uplander in to be repaired by a professional is not an option as there is no money to do that I just spent it all on my alternator. Last the Uplander is currently acting as a mobile home for myself and my two dogs so replacement of the alternator is needed ASAP .
With all that said I have viewed every single how to video on YouTube or anywhere else on the internet I can find I am certain that I have all the tools necessary to perform this task I'm certain that I have the knowledge necessary to perform this task I'm not certain that I can figure out how to tilt the engine forward. This is the only step that is never shown on any video in any detail whatsoever it just seems like magically the engine has already been moved by the time they start shooting the video. I have a hydraulic jack stands and 6 ft ratchet straps with 600 lb limits what I need is the most simple step by step in ridiculous amount of detail instructions on what to do after I remove or loosen the engine mounts. I'm doing this repair in a public parking lot area so I might get lucky and somebody might stop and ask if they can help me fingers crossed however let us just assume that I am doing this by myself as a very small person with zero upper body strength. Even if you think my situation is hopeless I would appreciate knowing these step by step instructions nonetheless. Thank you so much.

Thanks for the video! Unfortunately, this was not method I could use. I followed step by step but still found the alternator to be too far back to reach not to mention no room to remove it once I had all of those items removed😩
What a nightmare just to replace an alternator. I would never buy a vehicle that took this much time to remove a simple alternator..
