Driving home from 30 miles away, the Uplander up and quit on me! It was running just fine, and simply died and would not restart. We had it towed home via AAA, put the battery charger on it, and the gauges in the car and the gauge on the battery charger all went bonkers! It started, ran a lick and quit this morning and repeated that four times. Would not stay running.. Fuel rail pressure seems OK, and I get that little hum from the pump so it isn't starving out.

We tried various things last night to get it started. Battery went completely dead -- or did it? First readout on the charger was 12 volts, then two, then 12 again and dropped again. Only clicked when we tried to start it. One thing: A headlight that has been out came back on. The right turn signal only flashes rapidly when the headlights are on, but they're fine with no headlights.

I just don't know what it is this time. In the past, the battery has been known to drain overnight, so we put a battery brake in and turned off the battery overnight. That worked until we had a repair made and reset the computer. Also had a complete tune-up done about 15K ago. The computer readouts continued: Check this, check that, service this and that, usually five to eight of these. It's a cargo van with 151K on it.. Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated.
