Hello, I am new here and desperately need some help. I just bought an 05 uplander and today I stopped at a red light and tried to take off and it just rev’d, no gears what so ever. I stopped the engine and started again and it was fine. Did it again after 200 feet. Had to keep doing this until I got to a safe place. When the transmission is working it is flawless. What causes a transmission to stop working and start working again once you restart it?

 

Is there enough fluid?

 

 

Did you buy the van from a dealer? Os there a warranty with it? How many miles on the van ?
