I get about 14.5L/100km (16.2MPG) in the city, mixed hwy and average to slow traffic on smaller streets, down to 9.6L/100km (24.6MPG) on long runs at 110km/h. I don't rely on computer (DIC) data, the above numbers show the real fuel consumption. 2006 with EWB and 3.5L engine. Not bad for the size of the vehicle. Usually not loaded too much though.

DIC shows estimated MPG only. You'll find real MPG at the pump.

I just changed my oil and then reset the MPG indicator it gets as high as 23.8 so far. My commute is 26 miles on the interstate all but about 4 miles.

Before changing the oil (switch to synthetic and it was a bit overfull) the MPG was showing 20.6. My calulations based on miles and gallons required to fuel up were about 22.5 MPG. I was hoping for a bit better, but we'll see if it comes up any.

Well I drove it some more and in mixed driving 70% highway it seems to be getting about 23.5 MPG. I took on two long trips and made 26 and 27 MPG with 95% highway miles. I do think my MPG increase one I got the correct amount of oil in it. I also used a synthetic oil, but I don't know what it had in it from the dealer.

Smile gas millage on uplander

I find your gas consuption very high on highway and city. You must have a heavy foot on the gas pedal. I get 9.5 combined city/ highways.

2005 EWB, 24-25 city and 24-27 highway (depending on wind) with reformulated fuel
- always run Mobil synthetic motor oil
- normally have 5 people in vehicle for highway miles
- good gas adds ~2mpg, which I can't get in Wisconsin anymore
- best of 30mpg with all the rear seats out, no AC, cruise at 67mph, very slight uphill
- have tried setting cruise at 65, 67.5, 70, 72.5 without seeing a huge difference
