My 2004 venture died at 207,000 kms. RIP. I'll miss you.
so I'm in the market for a new minivan. I am looking at 2006 to 2009 uplanders.
Do the rocker panels rust like the ventures? (GM should have recalled my venture van IMHO for that)
Does the head gasket go at 207000 kilometers like the ventures?
Are there any other imminent dangers I should be watching for?
My budget is $5,000. Canadian

I have 2009 extended wheelbase with 158 000 km on it, living in Toronto Ontario. I also had a 2000 venture prior to this van. In comparison, the rocker panels seem to be holding up much better than the ventures. You should look out for bad wheel speed sensors/wiring which trigger "service abs and service stability system" lights to show up. There are forums on here that discuss how to solve those.
