What type/year/model/make of Uplander is this?
Hello again. I know, I ask loads of questions. I get frustrated and confused. Why? Well, for starters there is no "official" help to get on an imported car here in Sweden. Second, the Owners manual that I find on the internet is in English, and that is not my primary language.
Now. Im looking to buy a Uplander LT 2008. USA assembly. That is correct according to VIN number (1GNDV33W48D142724). But, If you look at the Picture, both the Fuel gage and Heat gage shows the Canadian style. Also, there is no OnStar or Bluetooth phone. And the "heated seat buttons" do not show as in the manual. The buttons are on the seats, not on the central dash/Control/console (I dont know what you call it in English.)
So why do I see this as a problem? First of all, the car costs $19.900. Thats ALOT of Money for a used car - even if it only have 55000km on the odometer. We also have a minor, but still a problem, of wrecked and crashed cars buyed cheap in the US and sold expensive here. So when it is not a 100% match I get worried. No matter what car it is. Im I just paranoid?

Who are you buying this van from? Ask them to provide you with a carfax.
Your instrument panel looks like my Canadian van but the digital drivers display is selectable between metric and standard (miles/gallons) if you wish on my van.

All Uplanders were built in the USA, the ones with the Canadian specs were built in the USA as well but with components which met Canadian standards.
Your instrument panel does not look like mine and I live in the US so I believe you are correct about it being Canadian spec. Just like Papa Bear, mine is also able to be changed from standard and metric though. And he makes a good point about asking for a Carfax - it will tell you a lot about the history of the vehicle hopefully. If the dealer/seller won't do it, it might be worth it for you to do it yourself for your peace of mind. Very cheap compared to the price of a vehicle.
Please feel free to ask as many questions as you need to help you with your buying decision. There are people here who will be happy to help you!
