Question **Super Charged 3.8 2000 Chevy Venture** What!?!

OK Heres The Deal... Some of you know that i had bought a 2000 Chevy Venture with high miles 185,000 It now has 188,000 going on a trip yada yada yada... Still runs pretty good. What ever! I dont trust this perticular engine (3.4)....

So here is my Idea... Will it work???

I want to swap out the 3.4 with a super charged 3.8 so when i have to drive it i can street race if needed and beat other mini vans in the race to get to the grocery store when stuff is on sale you know so what is the possilbilties of this happening and still being able to use my gauge cluster and would the motor mounts line up or would i have to fabricate? just give me some opinuns

LOL. Racing to the grocery store!
As far as I know, the engine mounts will have to be moved. The biggest thing would be clearing the firewall. I think the 3.8 would be VERY TIGHT.

no clue. There WAS a guy on W-body.com who did something similar. You could try talking to him (screenname: kuntzie). He took a 1999 Pontiac Montana and swapped in a 3800 series 2, then turbocharged it.

Thanks for the head's up .
Briefly looked over there . Although this Montana looks to be a factory set up to me .
I'd be curious as to motor mounting , exhaust mating and engine managment .
Please keep me posted if more info comes around .
Merry Christmas !
