Yup - She's a Diva truck

Hi. My 2009 Silverado just had the Drivers side window switch melt down... It started with issues getting the passenger front back up (down worked fine) then my drivers side rear window went down but didn't come back up... It never blew a fuse. I bought a replacement drivers window switch - just replaced it today... and as soon as I got the window down - and tried to move it up again the switch smoked. Took the part out and as you would expect - it's fried.

I see GM has a recall for this problem - Why isn't my Chevy on this list?!?!?

What could be causing this problem?
