Alternator swap question
Due simply to high miles, I will be taking out the old alternator and putting in a brand new one.
Due to the tough location and hassle of getting the old one out, I want to be sure I have a replacement on hand to finish the project.
My question is, I know that there were different amp output alternators put on these Ventures. If I simply put in a 140 Amp version, will it hook up and work regardless of the amperage of the one it replaces??
