I purchased a 2003 Venture cargo van. I decided to buy a donor van and convert the cargo van to a family vehicle.

The problem is the cargo van interior lights are completely controlled by the overhead toggle switch and not the doors for some reason. I changed the complete overhead switch panel out of the donor van thinking it was something that may have been changed from the cargo van, but they still only operate from the toggle and not the doors.

I checked all the plugs at the door latches and they are all plugged in and the wires run through to the dash.

Any help would be great, it's becoming a pain in the butt to toggle on and shut the doors and forget to toggle off.
