Low Oil Pressure Light On
OK, My 2000 Chevy Venture was running fine and then today The Low Oil Pressure light came on and the van started making a dinging sound.. When I shut it off and lifted the hood there was oil everywhere even on the ground under it.. The oil looks normal.. Some friends suggested to make sure it wasn't "milky" colored.. It looks normal too me.. I was also told to check the exhaust for wetness and it was dry.. The radiator fluid is full and its normal green color.. The van is close to the 200k mile mark so I expect problems but can't seem to figure this one out. People tell me it could be the head gasket and also someone said a lifter and even mentioned an oil cooler.. Could use some opinions on this..
