parasitic draw, now no start
Hi,
I have a 2002 Venture long fwd van. It is kept as a standby vehicle. I start it up every month or so, but found the battery dead. Lately I have been starting it up every 10 days or so, and will crankband start, but the battery has drawn down quite a bit. It seems to take longer to start than usual. I hooked up an ammeter and it seems like I have a parasitic draw of 1 amp. I started to pull fuses to find the offending circuit until it got dark. Then I tried to start it and it wouldn't start. I checked all the fuses I pulled
to make sure they were back in the right spot and in properly. Any ideas about the 1 amp draw and the no start? The battery is about 3 years old, but I didn't check it yet.
Thanks,
Wil
