I would say at one end of the purge hose
two possible localisations :
The purge valve is mounted to a bracket on the cylinder head directly below the ignition coils. very difficult to access.
Rotate the engine forward for access or raise the vehicule on a bridge
1998 and later models :vent valve is mounted on a bracket near the EVAP canister, near the fuel tank.
i'm not at all sure of the date, it could be the contrary, after what i observed on my ventures.
