GM presented an MPV based on the Volt at Beijing's Auto Show. Check it out

 

Looks nice. I like the color.

 

Its great to see that we are finally exporting more stuff to China!

 

This is a really good move on GM. Volt may have looked pretty smooth, but the interior is too small for most consumers. LEAF I think Nissan did their duty by putting 5 seats, mid-size segment. This cross-over 63 "long, slightly larger than the outer dimensions should help to compensae very inefficient Drivel.

 

Is this a vehicle we should expect Chevy to bring stateside at some point? If so, any idea on timing?

 

Is this fully electric or a hybrid? When will it be out in the USA?

The Volt MPV5 is a concept vehicle. We do not have plans to put this vehicle into production. This vehicle is electric with the same extended range capabilities as the Volt.

Chevy Volt is a great car, I think it will become one of the best sold car all over the world in the segment of electric vehicles.
