2012 Chevy Malibu transmission filler cap. It is near to and below the battery. It does have the add/crosshairs/max markings on the tip. And the writing on the cap saying 'transmission fluid use only Dexron VI'. I'm a bit confused because I had previously read that there was no transmission dipstick. The dipstick doesn't show anything while the engine is cold. If I start the engine how long do I have to let it run before I can check? And can I shut off the engine and check? Thanks
