Dad bought the truck in August 1987 with 8900km on the odometer. It's been his primary vehicle ever since. Recently Dad passed it along to me. No more trying to use my Impala for hauling stuff around. :-)
Future Modifications:
I don't really know where to begin although I can say my priority is getting the fuel gauge fixed! Close to the top of the list is the headliner fabric. My partner is 6'3" and the saggy fabric rubs his head.
The truck has seen a lot of dashboard "modifications" for a variety of two way radios. The body isn't in hideous shape. No accidents and a west coast (minimal winter salt) life = not a ton of rust.
